appliances?
Sep. 16th, 2007 01:27 pmDoes anyone know of good places to get household appliances in this area? (Driving distance is fine.)
I'm specifically interested in looking into apartment-sized/mini versions of a few things, including countertop dishwashers and small freezers.
I know about Tags, Home Depot, and BestBuy.
Anyone have any other suggestions for places that might have this sort of thing?
(I know there are various online sources, and I may end up doing that if I do decide to buy, but I'd really like to see some of these things in person first.)

Lowes, Yale
Date: 2007-09-17 04:14 am (UTC)I believe that Yale Lighting is, despite the name, also one of the larger appliance retailers in the area, although I know little about them. They're some manner of local chain, so you could probably find one along 128 with no problem.
There's also that enormous neon-lit appliance place in Fresh Pond, near where Concord Ave, New St, and Bay State Rd all meet (the "other" rotary), if that's not the Sozio mentioned above.... can't recall its name despite all the neon.
