Hm! If the name hadn't sold me, "doing strange things with electricity" would seal the deal! What sort of strange things does Dorkbot do/ has Dorkbot done in the past? Is it a wonderful, mad-sciencey world-domination-with-robots cabal, or a hip installation-piecey arts collective or both?

The members of Dorbots come from all walks of dorkbottishness. Some are multimedia artists, some are working with software, some robotics, some are working with others on hip installation collaborations.

We haven't had a meeting since June because so many people were on vacation. (You'd be surprised how pale dorkbotters can remain, even on summer vacation). But now it's time to dust off the servos and sensors and start up again.

In the past we've discussed a group collaboration, and I'd like revisit that idea tomorrow night and get a formal plan together.
