Cost of heating oil reality check, plz
Oct. 26th, 2007 07:33 pmSo I just got the first oil delivery of the season - $552. @ 2.89/gal. Yikes! More than gas.
I buy from the place my landlord has a service contract with so I have never shopped around. Does anyone recall the price they paid (recently) for heating oil?

I shopped around and 2.89 seemed to be the going average rate right now.

Date: 2007-10-27 10:40 pm (UTC)I won't smell very good come spring time, but at least I'll have money.
Just kidding. This sucks. The place I get from is very expensive too. I remember Arlington Energy being cheaper but the annoying service wasn't worth whatever amount I saved. Good luck!
