Where do people go to shoot hoops when it's cold and dark?
I'm sure there are local gyms or athletic clubs that offer indoor basketball courts, I'm just having trouble finding them. I'm not really looking to join a pick-up game as much as practice my nascent jump shot...
Oh, and I have wheels, so distance isn't a great problem.

The Chinatown Y in Boston has very nice courts and an excellent lunchtime game.
And if you're willing to drive and spend big bucks, Healthpoint out in Waltham has an exact duplicate of the Celtics' practice court. I got to shoot alongside M.L. Carr there a couple years ago; he was draining 3-pointers like someone tossing crumpled paper into a trash can.
