Davis Square business comings and goings
Nov. 11th, 2007 04:58 pmBenjapon's, the fast-food Thai place next to Boloco, has closed. This surprised me, since they left a stack of menus at my apartment building just a couple of weeks ago. The signs on their window say that "Joey's Thai Cafe" will open there in "late November", so maybe this will just be the same place with a new name and owner.
The Green House, a store featuring "plants, flowers, baskets, gifts, and events", will open in one of the storefronts between Alfresco and Kickass Cupcakes.
Alfresco, by the way, is owned by the same person who used to own the Savannah Grill restaurant on Elm Street. (I loved their pancakes.)
Someone else has already posted about When Pigs Fly, a bread store moving into another of those storefronts. This leaves only one empty storefront left to be filled there.
