There are several places around Davis Square and Porter square that have Yoga -- I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a good place to go.

Date: 2008-01-02 11:38 pm (UTC)currently i've settled into O2 Yoga at Cedar and Highland, but i go in the middle of the day so i haven't seen it packed yet. It's definitely worth checking out, as a new student you can buy two classes for $18 and they do give a student discount.
i've had a hankering to try out Yoga in the Square but can't make the infrequent classtimes. i was hoping someone would comment positively about that :/
i Wanted to try Om City on Mass Ave but they never have classes i can make (which now makes sense if it's only run by one person). i went to baron baptiste near Porter once and it kicked my ass, i'd never been to a hot class before and that seems to be all they do. it was definitely pretty full but i think there was some teacher thing going on the day i went. nice space and they have a lot of various times. i think my first class was free with a free mat and towel as well.
i really enjoy the space that karma has, though i was confused as to Where it was (downstairs) when i first tried to go. they have a lot going on, but personally it's kind of a pain to get there so i've only been once.
i've been realllly interested in Back Bay yoga but again with the schedule thing and the location, haven't made it yet. there's a place in arlington also that i haven't tried, i'm not sure if it's T accessible though.
i'm sure that wasn't really helpful, so the end result is to let us know what you end up trying and liking ;)
