Jul. 24th, 2009 06:10 pmDoes anyone know of a place in the Boston/Somerville area where I might be able to find a 15,000 rpm internal SAS hard disk between now and Monday morning? I'm in one of those situations where I need this part and I cannot wait for it to be delivered by mail order.
Any suggestions? Help would be much appreciated.
Places I've already tried include:
-Micro Center in Cambridge (I don't think they even knew what I was talking about)
-Micro Computers in Medford
-Micro Northeast in Woburn (they're not open, even though they might well have what I'm looking for)
Thank you greatly in advance!

Anything that needs to be replaced this quickly when it goes belly up, is worth the spending to have a cold-swap spare on hand.
(Yes, this does not guarantee that the cold-swap will be *good* when you try to use it, but that's more likely than that the empty shelf-space will be usable in its place...)
