This one goes out to the all the ladies...

I have a Healthworks all-hours Cambridge membership I am cancelling because it is no longer convenient for me. Healthworks has a policy where you can transfer memberships. Want to take it over from me?

Advantage to you: You don't have to pay any joining fee nor commit to any particular length of time, so you just pay the monthly and can cancel whenever.

Advantage to me: I've already paid through April, so if it gets taken over sooner, I can get some money back.

The place is great, if expensive (~$80). Some of the classes are simply fabulous.

Email me at my LJ address if you're interested.

Hello, everyone.

I checked tags and memories, and came up dry; does anyone have a chriopractor to recommend? I recently discovered that my insurance will pay for 30 visits in a calendar year; they have to be in network, and I have a list of those, but absolutely no clue if they're good or bad. I'm looking for one in either Central, Harvard, Porter or Davis Squares (your basic red-line corridor) or on Mass Ave. between Central and Porter.

I have heard that younger Chrios are more up on recent trends in the business and that older ones are less so; that is my only real requirement, to have someone a little forward-thinking, as I saw a Chiro 10 years ago and it didn't seem to help much...

Thanks!

Hi all,

This is the first year I've had to pay taxes in MA and was wondering where I can pick up a local income tax form? I've already paid my federal and state, but am unsure how local taxes work here. I haven't received any tax forms in the mail! Do these forms come from the city, county, or what? I'm from Pennsylvania, which has townships, so I'm a little lost as to who exactly will be taxing me!

Thanks a bunch.

When I walked past the Buck-a-Book space/Starbucks today, I noticed there was a sign for a Planned Parenthood Express Center (listed on the sign that lists all the businesses in that little plaza). So I wonder if the previous B-a-B space is becoming a new Planned Parenthood center? I'm fairly excited about this, especially as a previous employee of PPLM - they've been talking forever about opening smaller branches for just birth control and non-exam visits (right now they only have branches in Boston on Comm Ave, Springfield, and Worcester), and right in our neighborhood is great. Does anyone know anything more about this?

ETA: just found this on PPLM's website..I think this was recently posted.
