Hello Davis!

I graduated from college (yesterday!), have a job lined up, and tonight will be the first night I spend in my new apartment. Exciting times! I'm moving to the Davis area from Waltham, so I'm not yet very familiar with my new home. My question is, where do you do your banking? I use Bank of America right now, and I know there's a BoA right in Davis Sq. 'cause I've used their ATM, but I'm ignorant of the other options. I'm thinking of switching banks, and proximity of ATMs/banks to my home and work is a big part of the decision. Any thoughts? (I'll be living just outside Teele Sq.)

hair dresser?

I want to have my hair done for graduation. As in washing that grey right outta my hair :) Or something like that. I'm thinking of having highlights put in and have I need it my hair cut as well.

Does anyone have recommendations for a hair dresser in Somerville around Davis/Porter/Harvard, etc. that's not uber expensive?

I was considering the new place in Ball Sq called Salon Cu but they're a little pricey. Does anyone have experince with them? Are they worth it?

Just thought I'd pass this along: Redbones now (finally) accepts credit cards!

Apparently this just happened within the past couple of months, but it's about time! No more making sure you have piles of cash before eating and/or drinking there.

disc diggers space to become central bank

From the rumor mill... I heard that the Disc Diggers space is going to become an extension of Central Bank which I believe has a branch a few doors down right now. Note that this is what I heard through the grapevine from a local business owner so I can't say I'm 100% sure this is true.
