Snow Emergency ?!

I just got woken up by a robo-call from 'Tom Champion' of the City of Somerville, saying that the city is declaring a snow emergency at 10 am, and that all cars must be parked on the odd side of streets by 2 pm. Wha?

Does anyone know if the Somerville Theater has ever had a closing due to snow? I can't seem to find any info on their website and my email has gone unanswered. Since I'm at work, I can't call until later.

Is anyone interested in going? Its in the right Orchestra, row F. The show starts at 8 PM.

We want to do the responsible thing for bands and fans tonight, due to the inclement weather, so the show scheduled for tonight - FRIDAY, 3/16 - featuring Hemlok, Mindset-X, Kurst, and Call It A Night has been cancelled.

We WILL be open tomorrow, 3/17, for our St. Patty's Day show featuring Carrie Cheron, Leon Rich, and Mark Nelson.

weekday parking question

I'm hoping to head down the Davis on either a Monday or Tuesday to hang out and do some shopping. Do the metered lots fill up on weekdays? How likely is it that I will find a legal parking spot at around 11AM or noon on a weekday?
