yet another car question

hi guys -- my car's air conditioner is on the fritz and needs repair. (i'm pretty sure my Freon levels are low, as the fans are working just fine, engine temp is fine.)

i've noticed along mass ave there are at least three mechanics that tout their AC-repair skills. i'd rather not just randomly choose one, so can anyone recommend a place for this AC work in the area?
(if you happen to know roundabouts how much such repair might cost or how long it'd take that would be really helpful too.) i'm heading out of the area in 2 days and am curious if i should try to get this fixed now or after i get back.

80's Clothing?

Hey guys, sorry for the random posting.

My friend's bachelorette party this weekend is at a club that's having an '80's prom. Does anyone happen to have any borrow-able very 80's ish items of women's clothing? Or t-shirt? Better yet, anyone have an old Janet Jackson t-shirt or anything? I'm a Janet fan. Gonna be donning at least her '80's key-hoop earring).I only found one appropriate one on e-bay and it'd take too long to get here. ( Let me know if you have any thoughts!

Where to Go Swimming Map

I posted this last year, but thought it would be nice to do it again, since it was about 95 degrees today. I and a few other people have compiled this map of places you can go swimming in the Boston area: Boston Area Swimming. A lot of the places are easily reachable by T.

I tried to embed the map here below a cut (Thanks Ron) but apparently Livejournal isn't accepting these javascript or flash widgets. Too bad.
