I found a Virgin Mobile cell phone on Mass Ave, a couple blocks west of Porter. It is a black 'candy bar' design (i.e. non-folding). The phone looks like it may have been kicked around a bit, but the battery level looks like it was charged with the last couple of days.

Tell me the number and I will return it. Comments are being screened, so you can post an email address without it getting picked up by spam bots.

This post is much too late to do many of you any good, but .... today's Globe Sidekick says that tonight's blues concert at the Somerville Theatre will end with "a procession into Davis Square led by the Hot Tamale Brass Band". The concert started at 7:30 and, according to Sidekick, will last three and a half hours. That puts the parade around 11 pm. Be there if you can.

EDIT: Unfortunately this event did not really happen as advertised. The band played in the lobby of the theatre around 11:45, but never paraded out into the street.

Hey, y'all--

As part of the finishing of the moving process, there's some Stuff...

* A (perhaps slightly blurry) computer monitor
* A microwave (which works perfectly except that the digits display oddly)
* A lot of quite decent moving boxes, many with packing material in them

...on the curb at the corner of Grafton and Raleigh in Arlington. Haul it away and it's yours.

Additionally, we've got a Kenmore refrigerator that we bought new a year ago for $500, which we'll happily sell to you for $250 (though, fair warning, you'll have to move it [from the second floor] on your own). Email me (this username @mit.edu) if you're interested.
