Long shot, I know

Lost:

An 8-and-a-half by 11 piece of white heavy weighted paper, folded three times, somewhere between Davis and Porter. If you didn't open it up, it would just look like a slightly tented piece of paper. If you did open it up, you would see dated writing scribbled in cheap blue ballpoint pen.

(I journal daily on paper, and was walk-of-shaming it home from a weekend of writing on a piece of paper instead of a book. I think it fell out of my back pocket on the way home. I'm sure it's probably drowning in a puddle of snow water somewhere, but I figured it was worth a shot.)

Y-NOT Variety has booze

Was just at the Y-NOT (corner of willow / morrisson) and they now have beer and wine.  This makes this convenience store even more convenient.

A shooting on Elm Street, Saturday night (Sunday morning)

There was a shooting around 2:30 am Saturday night (Sunday morning) at Chester and Elm Streets, followed by the shooting victim hijacking a taxicab to Herbert Street and trying to run over the alleged shooter. Neither party lived in Somerville; one was from Brockton, the other from Malden.

I'm posting this here because, even though this post was already made, a lot of people probably didn't see it or realize what it was really about. A small discussion is going on there, but people generally don't go back to old posts.

Universal Hub item. Someone looked up the shooting victim's name and found that he used to live in Somerville and was arrested at least twice before for assault and battery in Cambridge.

Luck of the Irish?

A girl stopped by my door today selling raffle tickets for her junior high, the raffle was called Luck of the Irish.  I didn't have any money and asked her to come back later, but I wasn't really sure what this was.  Any help?
