While taking the train home last night, I passed through Kendall Square around..9:30? And what to my wondering eyes should appear on the platform across from us before the train took off again?

Didn't look like he had any newspapers with him (surprise surprise) but his distinct fashion sense gave him away.

Figured I'd share the sighting.

Update: Unleashed Dogs in Lexington Park

It seems that my last post sparked quite a debate and 'almost' made some people cry.
Just wanted to give you an update that I received from Alderman Sean O'Donovan. 

2nd Update:
This morning a police cruiser turned onto the path where there were people with unleashed dogs. The officer didn't get out but owners put their pets on the leash.
I also received a note from the Mayor's office that they will do their best in enforcing this issue.  I hope that the Police presence on the path this morning is representative of my efforts to bring this issue to their attention.

Eye Care

I checked the tags and didn't see anything about Cambridge Eye Doctors.  I need my first eye exam and (most likely) first pair of glasses I didn't buy at CVS!  Cambridge Eye is running what sounds like a great deal with my insurance company.  Does anyone have any experience (good or bad) with them?

Yard sale this Saturday!

My friends and I are having a yard sale this Saturday from 10:30 to 4:00 - we're a little outside Davis Square off Somerville Ave and Central St, but I think we're close enough to count. :o)

We're all moving out of the area so we're selling off a bunch of furniture, kitchen and household stuff. If all goes as planned, there will also be lemonade and cookies. Come by and take a look! Prices are negotiable and haggling is an activity enjoyed by all.
