7 year old Sealy couch from Jordan's Furniture in the driveway at 19 Hall Avenue.  Slight rips on the fronts of both arms and the back of one cushion, but comfortable, and ready to move.  Would be great with a slipcover.  Has been in a dog-friendly home.

Any August 1st movers needing a couch, this will get you started.

Apartment Wanted for September 1st- we've been having trouble finding what we need on Craiglist, so we figured it wouldn't hurt to post here.

We're two friendly, vaguely nerdy 27-year-old women in search of the perfect 2 bedroom apartment, ideally located within a 10-12 minute walk to the Davis T (Porter Square T is ok too), with a maximum rent of $1600 a month (less is awesome). We have 1 cat and 1 car, and need to find a place where the cat is welcome, and the car can find parking (off-street is best, but on-street permit parking is fine).

We'd love a place with a dishwasher and laundry in the building.

Some women have the shoe thing happening; I am *really* bad about seeing funky purses and bags and grabbing them. I haven't bought any this year, though, and I'm sorting through all my old ones to sell.

I suspect that a couple of them (retro 70s TWA and Pan Am carry on bags) will be of interest to Davis Square types.

Available 9/1! for sublet with option to renew lease for dec. 1st.

I will be vacating my apartment and I need someone to take up the room/rent.

The apartment: eat in kitchen, laundry on premises, 88/87 bus picks up a couple blocks away, 20 min walk to davis square or take the bus and get there in about 5 mins, two porches, second floor. dining room, living room, cable ready. the room is $700 plus utilities. The current roommate is one of my best friends, she's very clean and we have no pets. there's a grocery store a couple blocks away and a dry cleaner right across the street. utilities are usually about $80.

i have lived here for almost two years. it's really a great place and the land lady is soso attentive and kind.

Dave's Fresh Pasta is now weighing their ravioli

I don't know if someone talked to the folks at Dave's Fresh Pasta after this discussion, but the last two times I bought a pound of raviolis they weighed them and charged me by actual weight instead of the approximate one listed on the blackboard.

For those curious, the two orders weighed 1.01 and 1.07 pounds.
