Illuminations Tour tickets went on sale today at Blue Cloud Gallery in Ball Square. A line had already formed at 11 when the store opened. So if you want tickets, you may want to get them soon.

Lyndell’s Bakery will celebrate its 122nd Anniversary on Wednesday, Dec. 2 with the Great Cupcake Giveaway.

Every customer that visits either location will receive a free cupcake. Lyndell’s started the tradition two years ago when they reached the 120th year in business. On Dec. 2, 2009, the bakery will be in business for 39,238 days making it one of the oldest scratch bakeries in the country.

Lyndell’s currently has two locations -- the original at 720 Broadway in Somerville and one recently open at 227 Hanover St. in the North End.

Hello,

I'm organizing a surprise Holiday Fundraiser for Harold, the Spare Change News vendor who works evenings in Davis Square. The idea is very simple, raise $250 and give it to Harold so he can have a more enjoyable holiday season.
