Hi! On my ride to work this morning, I found a keyring with a car key, bike lock key, and 1-2 more. Given its position on the road (Broadway eastbound across from Johnny's Foodmaster) it looks like a fellow cyclist dropped them. If they are yours, I left them with the police at the little branch station on Broadway at Teele Square.

Early morning use of parks

I teach a Bootcamp class at a local gym and am interested in occasionally taking the class outside during the nice summer months. I have read online that Somerville parks are open from 8am-8pm, but I'm wondering if this is enforced (my group would be there around 6:30am) and if anyone has had any experience with this situation before I dive in and start calling the town. Thanks so much!

I am trying to find a place I can donate my kid's old stuff (clothes, toys). The clothes are easy; the toys are not. Things which have failed thus far:

 Looks like Tip-Top Thai in Teele Sq. (1127 Broadway) has closed. There is a FOR RENT sign in the window. Any info about prospective new tenants? I'd love to see something great come in.

Volunteers needed for Charles River Swim on 7/25

The Charles River Swimming Club is looking for volunteers to help put on this annual swimming race, which intends to celebrate all the work that has gone into cleaning up the Charles and raise awareness of ongoing issues and efforts. Needed are general volunteers (no experience necessary) for timing, registration etc. and kayakers for safety support (kayaks provided by Community Boating). Time commitment is from 6:30am to about 10:30am on Sunday, 7/25.

Please help put on this event, which was postponed from its original date on 7/11 due to heavy rainfalls the previous day. You will make it possible for 150 people to swim in the Charles River, something many of them have looked forward to for a long time.
