This March Theatre@First has auditions for two shows!

First up is Equus!
Auditions for our main-stage production in June take place March 7-8.

This show has teenaged roles for two actors, and opportunities for dancers, as well as adult roles for both men and women.

For more information and to make an appointment for your Equus audition, visit http://www.theatreatfirst.org/shows/equus/auditions.shtml.

Second is The Bakery!

The Bakery is an original screenplay by local writer Lisë Stern--a warm and loving look at Somerville from inside a bakery! Theatre@First will present two performances of the script as a staged reading in late April.

Auditions take place on March 21-22 and there are roles for men and women ages 14 to 80, so come on out!

For more information and to make an appointment to audition for The Bakery, visit http://www.theatreatfirst.org/shows/bakery/auditions.shtml.

I know Starbucks and Blue Shirt has wifi, but the former is often crowded and noisy, the latter doesn't have the most comfortable seating. The Somerville library (both West branch and main) are favorite spots for quiet study -- but the wifi is very unreliable. (I also wonder what I could do to help them improve the reliability of their network).

What places nearby do you find most conducive to studying with a reliable wifi connection when you need it?

According to http://mobile.twitter.com/local_30#tweet_40962113237303296 -- the Cambridge fire twitter feed-- and the copious amounts of smoke and sirens, Fawcett Oil in North Cambridge is currently on fire.

Does anyone know of a local place that sells dried rose petals that are edible? I can't think of a store off the top of my head and googling didn't get me anywhere.

Thanks!
