Curbing a sofa and chair

I want to put a sofa and chair out with the trash tonight, does anyone have a referral of a handyman or similar to get this out of my apartment? It's not in a condition that I would try to sell or donate it. Before I randomly get someone off CL I thought I would ask here.

Yesterday I went to see a late movie at the Somerville Theatre with two friends, and ran into two other friends after the show, and we stood outside chatting for a bit. When we finally left, it was because of a combination of mosquitoes (not surprising late at night under bright lights) and cigarette smoke.

It seems odd to me that the Somerville Theatre would allow smoking right outside its doors. Is there a stated policy that simply isn't enforced?

I've got some books in good condition I'd like to sell as used to a bookstore or somesuch--but Pandemonium's not buying books at this time, and Rodney's in Central deals in store credit only and I'd prefer to sell for cash if at all possible. Anyone know of another local store or other outlet to sell used books (other than just selling them piecemeal to whoever I can find, of course)?
