Gutter Replacement Recommendation?

 Hi LJ,

I'm coming to you for another contractor recommendation.  The gutters on my house need to be completely replaced.  I've looked through the home repair tags and noted that JLM Gutters has been recommended but I'd like to get a couple of quotes.  Are there any other gutter repair companies that you could recommend for this job?

I'm also pretty new to the home-ownership game so does anyone have a rough guess of how much I should expect to pay for new gutters on your typical 1920s two family?

overhead garage door repair

I have an overhead garage door whose mounting is completely messed up, due in part to deterioration of the concrete onto which it is attached.

Does anyone know of a good person/company to do the repair?

where to shred docs?

I cleaned out old files and have a large pile of documents chock full of personal info ripe for ID theft.  It'll take all month with my ailing home shredder.  Is there someplace local I can take these to be destroyed?  Googling found some business services, but nothing useful to me.

Free on side of road: Cat Tree

Used cat tree. Two levels, probably about 30" tall. Is covered in cat hair, but should clean easily. Scratched and well loved. Don't need it anymore. It would be great if someone could give it a good home (especially before it starts raining again)

ETA: On Cameron Avenue, Cambridge side, near where the bike path crosses, right before Mass Ave.

recliner loveseat

It's not in the best shape, but it's also free and outside my apartment at 54 Upland road tonight. Actually, it's mostly in fine shape, except one corner is cat-shredded. The recliner mechanism is in perfect working order. If you wanted to reupholster it or just cover it with something, a recliner sofa is actually kinda cool.

It's heavier than a regular sofa on account of all the extry metal parts inside it and such.
