Join us this Sunday for some creative fun to support the Somerville Homeless Coalition,

Each November, the Nave Gallery in Somerville, MA hosts Wrap Around, a sale of affordable handmade woolen goods to support the SHC. All proceeds help fund the amazing work that SHC does, and anything not sold is donated to them.

The mission of this group, is to meet monthly  chat with very cool people, and knit, crochet, or create items for next November's sale. This is a really fun way to get your craft on and help keep someone warm during our very cold winter.

Hope to see you today! There will be coffee, tea, and some light snacks. Feel free to bring something to munch on if you'd like.

Large pieces of cardboard?

Does anyone have any idea where I might be able to acquire a few larges pieces of cardboard today? Like appliances boxes that haven't been crushed down maybe? I need four stiff/uncreased pieces that are a good 3'x3' if not a little bigger. Or maybe you have some?

ETA: I ended up getting some cardboard boxes that aren't big enough on a side but I think I can make it work. Amazing how hard it is to find stuff longer than 24" on a side.

iPad screen repair?

Best place to get a hairline crack in an iPad 1's screen repaired? It's still responding to touch and everything, so nothing else is broken. It's completely out of warranty, so it doesn't matter whether it's a licensed Apple repair shop or anything, as long as they do a good job.
