Before I go to Craigslist I thought I'd see if anyone here is interested in buying a new sofa on the cheap.

Dimensions: 30" at the back, 18-19" in front, 35" deep, 72" long.
Pattern: creamy/off-white and turquoise/teal on a green background.
Solid dark wood base. Comes with the two throw pillows.
This is a smallish and unfussy sofa, about 7 years old.
Purchased from Jordan's when they began their "city" line to cater to smaller homes.
It's perfect for smaller entries/doorways/rooms in Somerville and Cambridge spaces.
Only selling because we purchased a larger sofa that suits our new space.

It's good as is, but could be spruced up with slipcovers and/or new stuffing.
One (maybe two?) cushions have spots on them, so I keep those sides turned over.

Asking $50 and must be able to haul away.
We can help get it out of our house and into your vehicle, then it's all you.
West Somerville, adjacent to Tufts campus.

Hi, I was involved in a car accident in Ball Square Saturday 2/19 at around 3:45pm at the intersection of Willow/Bristol and Broadway. There were tons of people out and about, but I (stupidly) didn't take anybody's name/number. I don't believe this accident was my fault and don't want to have to pay the deductible but my insurance company stated it would be easier to fight if I had a witness to corroborate my account of the accident.

So if you had seen the accident it would be much appreciated if you could message me.

Thanks!
Ron

Hello everyone!  I'm seeking anyone who would be interested in playing in my dental office's marching band at this year's Pride Parade, happening on Saturday, June 9, 2012.

My start-up office (Smiles By Rosie) will be marching with a few dozen people handing out toothbrushes and floss, and I'm getting a small band together. The musicians will be wearing lab coats and playing marches (mostly Sousa).  My office is being built now and I hope to start seeing patients in June.

My dental office is enthusiastically LGBT, kink, and poly-friendly, but do understand that marching with us is a form of marketing for a business. No hard feelings if you'd rather work with a non-profit!  I'm also happy to offer a longer description of my office's attitudes towards patient care and the environment I'm hoping to build.

Please note: This is an amateur band! As long as we're playing the same song, within a few measures of each other, and all walking in the same direction, I'll be happy! :)

The commitment would involve several rehearsals beginning in March, probably near Davis. The parade itself is from approximately 11-3 on 6/9.

ALL BAND INSTRUMENTS NEEDED! I unfortunately cannot supply instruments, but I'm happy to reimburse each musician $50 for time and travel. We will be reading from free public domain Sousa marches, which are all available at http://www.bandmusicpdf.org/

If you'd like to join us, please respond here or e-mail me at rosie@smilesbyrosie.com.

Thanks so much in advance!  This is going to be FUN!!!!!!!

Grass

Not sure this is the most "hyperlocal" question ever, but I'm looking into re-planting my apartment's back yard. Specifically, I'm curious if anyone has a suggestion for a good species of grass seed for a Somerville back yard (pretty small area, not the greatest direct light, northern climate, etc) that doesn't completely break the budget, when to plant, and any other tips on the subject. Thanks!
