Chipotle Promo to Visit 8/22 & 9/5 Davis Sq Farmers Market

Looks like Chipotle is doing a promotional tour and will visit the Davis Sq Farmers' Market on August 22nd and Sept. 5th.

In celebration of Farmers Market Week, August 5th-11th, and to help support local family farmers, we'll be handing out FREE $10 farmers market tokens to the first 250 customers.

Come visit our booth! We'll have tote bags for the first 50 people who show, Grow Your Own Cilantro kits, salsa scavenger hunt cards, and other fun stuff.

5K Fundraiser In Need of Volunteers!

The Somerville Homeless Coalition is hosting the 17th Annual 5K Road Race in Davis Square next month, and we need your help! ( Our Road Race starts bright and early at 9am, Saturday, October 6th and ends with a delicious brunch and prizes. The fun begins on Holland Street near the Davis T-stop and across from Johnny D's. We're expecting 1,000+ runners and need some helping hands to make this event a success. Tasks include: ushering of runners to registration, course helpers, brunch helpers, set-up & breakdown, etc. Activities are appropriate for ages (18+).

Please reply to volunteer at shcinc dot org or call 617-623-6111 sign-up. Please specify what time from you’ll be able to help. We have shifts from 7am- ending around 11:30am. If you’re planning on running, no problem. We can sign you up for one of our earlier shifts before the race begins. We hope to hear from you soon!
