An e-mail I got today:
Hello, this is Jackie Rossetti from the City of Somerville with important information for the Davis Square area. On Wednesday, November 28th a film production company will be filming scenes for an upcoming TV show
* at indoor locations in Davis Square between the hours of 6am and 9pm. To accommodate this event and for public safety reasons, parking restrictions may apply in some areas of Davis Square and in surrounding lots, including Day Street and Grove Street. Additionally, the vehicle travel lane will be restricted at the left turn lane from Highland Ave. onto Elm Street. Somerville Police officers will be stationed in this area to assist with any temporary detours. To reduce impacts on businesses, customers and residents, Resident Permit Parking in this immediate area will be relaxed during posted “No Parking” hours.
If you have questions or concerns on Wednesday, please contact Assistant Location Manager Ryan Cook at 617-763-7758.
* I asked Jackie Rossetti what the TV show is, and she replied: It’s
an ABC Family pilot called “Terminales”.
(I wonder if this is why Diesel Cafe will close at 5 pm Tuesday and be closed all day Wednesday?)
