A petition has been started to divest the city of Somerville from fossil fuels. This is a great chance for Somerville to be a leader on climate change!
If you're interested in getting involved with the campaign, there will be a meeting tonight at 6 pm at the Climate Justice Hub in Davis Square.

Tornado Warning LIFTED
Jul. 1st, 2013 04:27 pmWarning Lifted. Never mind.
Thereis was a Tornado Warning currently in effect. Somerville and Medford are not listed in the NWS bulletin, but the warning does show up on our forecasts.
The bulletinurges urged "Take cover now!"
For my part, I've put my kittens in a carrier, and am standing by for now. Warning is currently set to expire at 4:30, so we may have dodged this one ( or it dodged us).

So besides Pandemonium, are there any other local gaming stores that carry board games, tabletop, and miniatures, for the odd occasion I need to buy them? T-accessibility is preferred, but not entirely necessary.
Renting a parking spot?
Jul. 1st, 2013 10:06 pmA friend of mine would really like to move to the Ball Square area, but he's got his heart set on finding an off-street parking spot. Does anyone know of anyone near Ball Square who might be interested in renting a driveway or garage spot, and about how much they would charge for the service per month?
Thanks!
Thanks!
