Hi all,

unbelievably, my children have now both outgrown the stroller, and it's time to part with it. Though we have used it for five years, and put many many miles on it, I think it still has some decent life left in it, for someone who wants the functionality of a front/back double stroller but doesn't care about it being the most shiny/new.

Details: Phil and Ted's classic double stroller (including the extra/jump seat) in red. The fabric has some sun fading, and there might be a small tear here or there, but overall fair condition.

We'd love to get $25 for it, but are totally flexible with any offer someone would want to make.

If anyone is interested, or has questions, please let me know.

(also, if you don't know what the stroller looks like, here is an example:

Honk! is running a kickstarter to support this year's festival, and as of now, they're at $8700 of a $15,000 goal — with only 9 days left. If, like me, you think this is one of the must fun things to happen in our neighborhood, go to Honk 2014 kickstarter and chip in. Even a small bit helps reach the goal, of course, and at higher levels there are nifty rewards.

I'm wondering if anyone has feedback (good or bad) on Union Sq Vet Clinic, on Highland Ave between Willow and Cedar. I normally don't go for the Science Diet-pushing practices, but my vet is in NH and as my dog ages, I'm poking around a little for an alternate. Specifically, I'd like a vet that is open-minded on things like raw feeding and reduced vaccine schedules. I like that they have Sunday hours. Anyway, just interested in others' experiences. Thanks!

Please support our upcoming Fundraiser at Flatbread on Tuesday, September 30th for The Friends of the Somerville Public Library.

The Friends will receive a donation for each flatbread pizza sold between 5pm-11pm on that night, including take out. Even better!!... as in previous years we will have a small curated book sale and wicked raffle. Gitfs from SkyZone, a pack and tx from the JFK Library, a print from The Old Try and a quart of wood fired VT maple syrup.

Poster and more )

Funds raised will go to support the Library's popular Museum Passes program, license fees for movie screenings, co-sponsor Somerville Reads and more, so the Library can offer a variety of children's, young adult, and adult programs which range from puppet shows to poetry readings. Think we even had puppets reading poetry once...

Any qusetions please email friendssomervillepubliclibrary@gmail.com
