Hello, I wish to provide a recomendation for Torino Heating to anyone who has oil powered heat.   Frank has has kept my old boiler alive for years through annual servicing off season and I've never had a no heat call during the winter season; he really knows what he is doing.   He is a sole proprietor and it is great to have the owner operator be the one who always comes.    I'm doing a major renovation and we will be converting to gas, my only regret in that is that I can't use his services anymore, so I wanted to get his name out there for when people search this forum for such a thing in the future.   He is based in Medford. Hello!

This is a little far afield from Davis, but does anyone know if you will get ticketed for parking in the parking lot on the corner of Chester Ave and Winthrop St? I know it's used by the church across the street and I've seen Tufts vehicles there as well, but it rarely seems to be full. I have a guest from out of town coming with a car for one night and all the spots around my place have already been dug out and marked with space savers by neighbors.

Thanks in advance!

TechHub, which operates a network of co-working spaces in India, Romania, Latvia, and the United Kingdom, plans to open in Somerville this month. And much like a card that will give you access to frequent flier lounges, a TechHub membership will let you work in any of the locations as you jet around the globe. TechHub was founded in London in 2010.

They also considered locations in the Seaport District before focusing on 7,500-square feet in a Citizens Bank building in Davis Square. They’re subletting space from Powderhouse Productions, a television production company.

They plan to open the Somerville TechHub next Monday, and to offer free usage for the rest of March. While the space hasn’t yet been fully built-out, Noakes describes it as a “minimum viable product” that they’ll continue adding to based on member input.
