Howdy! Doing a bit of spring cleaning, and we have a few things that are looking for good homes.
The big item is a corner desk. It was originally from Ikea, I believe (it predates me in this house), and is still in perfectly good shape -- I've simply replaced it with a standing desk, which is more to my preference. It is now fully disassembled down in our basement, but you can find pictures of it in this album. I took the photos as I was taking it apart, to help understand how to put it back together.
It's mostly a lot of small-to-medium-sized pieces. The only tricky bit is the main desktop, which is about four feet square -- it can probably fit in a standard car, but it's not small, and probably wants two people to carry it safely.
It includes an aftermarket keyboard tray that I added, and goes to the first person who comes and gets it. It's a good desk, with lots of useful space in a small footprint, ideal for office or student use.
I've also got a bunch of comics longboxes -- the three-foot ones that hold a couple hundred comics each. I'm gradually whittling down my massive comics collection, and have about ten longboxes now sitting empty. They're used, but still intact. First come, first serve -- while I'm happy to give them all to one person, I expect folks are more likely to want just a couple of them.
Finally, we've got a pile of spice jars, mostly from Penseys. We'll recycle them if need be, but if somebody has a use for them, please drop me a note.
We're on Murdock Street, just off Cedar St. at the Ball Square end. (Near the end of the Community Path.) If you're interested in any of the above, you can contact me by messaging me here, or email me at jducoeur at gmail. Thanks!
