Rug cleaning? (Specifically orientals)
May. 24th, 2010 03:57 pmWe're moving and *gasp* leaving Davis. :( Truly sad. We have several wool orientals and they have had an off-and-on relationship with some icky moths. In an effort not to bring them with us to our current place, I want all of our wool rugs (including one non-oriental Ikea rug) to get a deep clean, and a non-toxic moth treatment, if there is such a thing. I have a baby who sometimes licks the rugs (ew), so definitely non-toxic. Anyone know of a place or person? Hey, I'm happy to have someone drag them out into my backyard and soap and hose them down if that's all I can get. Economical is preferred over any other attributes (except, of course, moth-ridding capabilities). Thanks!

Probably not the cheapest but true pros. If you have older, good-quality rugs, they will clean them without harming them.
