Info about moving to Somerville?

I'm a little annoyed that this post didn't work the first time.  Guys, I typed a whole post out, hit submit, and only half of the first sentence showed up.  So let's try it again.

My roommates and I are moving to Somerville in two weeks.  I'm wondering where we can get general information such as when trash is collected/how to get a parking permit for visitors, and that kind of thing.  Also, I'd like to find out what's around in terms of grocery stores/supermarkets/laundromats/pharmacies, etc.  For reference, we're just past Tufts if you're heading down Holland away from Davis.

I just wanted to give a general direction without telling people my exact address. My apartment is probably about a two-minute walk from the Tufts campus. But thanks for the info?
