what happened to cambridge lock & security?

The place in ball square. I called their number but it's apparently no longer in service. Are they out of business?

If that's the case, can someone recommend a different locksmith?

I don't know what's happened since then, but here's an old comment about them. I added the "key and lock" tag which you can click on to find other discussions of locksmiths.

Yeah, they've been shuttered for a while. As an alternative, there's a place in Porter (http://www.yelp.com/biz/commonwealth-lock-company-cambridge).

Commonwealth lock does not make housecalls. But IME they're always happy to recommend a good independent locksmith.
