davis_squareTen immigrant run Somerville restaurants are participating in the 2012 YUM: A Taste of Immigrant City. The YUM Restaurant Card is available now online for $10, and early bird tickets for the event at the Armory on April 25 are $35. It's all a benefit for The Welcome Project, a Somerville nonprofit that works with the city's immigrant communities, offering English classes and programs for youth from immigrant families.
Participating restaurants are: Istanbul'lu (Turkish), Masala (Indian & Nepali), Sabur (Mediterranean), Maya Sol (Mexican), Amelia's Kitchen (Italian), Ronnarong Thai Tapas Bar (Thai), Aguacate Verde (Mexican), Yak & Yeti (Indian and Nepali), Churrasco (Brazilian), and Fasika (Ethiopian).
