Herbstalk 2012 is taking place on June 9th in Somerville at the Center for Arts at the Armory from 10:30 am to 6pm. This grassroots event is devoted to educating and inspiring our local community about the common and safe use of medicinal herbs. The day-long event will feature over 20 educational talks given by local herbalists, holistic nutritionists, naturopathic doctors and natural health counselors on a variety of topics geared towards herbal enthusiasts of all ages. We will also host a marketplace featuring local businesses and handmade herbal products.

$5 suggested donation. Doors open to the public at 10:30 am.

It's at the Armory, so you'll need to take the 88, 90, or (perhaps) 80 bus rather than a train.

There is one talk on plant spirit medicine, however, for those folks interested in the energetic aspect of herbs.
