Just had a very loud, low plane fly-over (I'm at Powderhouse) - pretty scary, even though I remembered when it happened for the All-Star game at Fenway many years ago. Anyone know what this one was for?

People assume planes around here are to/from Logan, or for some event in Boston. Keep in mind we're also in the flight path for Hanscome Air Force Base.

Not everyone is used to living in an area where flyovers are common. I still get freaked out when *anything* flys overhead. Anything manmade, that is.

i was driving down somerville ave at the time and i was like WOAH wtf was that...and someone conveniently left the radio in the car that i was in tuned to WEEI and i heard there was a sox game, so i figured that was what it was for...
