I know this question gets asked a lot and I apologize.

I am in need of a new doctor/PCP. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good doctor or a place fulla good doctors?

Cambridge Family Health is not accepting new patients (which sucks as I live quite close to there and my GF likes it there). And I had an irritating experience with the Marino Health Center or whatever it's called--so those places are out.

Ideally, it would be near Davis, Porter or Central Squares, but anywhere Red Line-able is fine. The one big need is I need an appt within 3 weeks to get shots for an upcoming last-minute trip. My health care lets me see whatever dr I want so that's not an issue.

Thanks

Cool. How old is she? Do you happen to know if she keeps up with new research or is at all familiar with breastfeeding? My current doctor (also affilated with Mt. Auburn) looks slightly embarassed when I ask him whether something he's prescribing is compatible with breast feeding and certainly doesn't know the answer.

Amy Hayes (the FNP) should have openings. you'd need to list a resident as your primary care doc, but could then see Amy. she's as good as Dr. Powers :)
