Cheap hotels/motels in Somerville/Cambridge?

My parents are going to try and come visit me on the 16th-18th of this month, however it seems all hotels are over $100 a night! Does anyone have any suggestions for cheaper alternatives in the area? Smaller motels? Bed and breakfasts? Someplace that won't be horribly expensive? I appreciate your help :)

If they're going to have a car, look at some of the things in Medford center like the Suites hotel there. But I wouldn't really expect to find under $100.

If money is the main limit (and a car is available), look at Waltham around 128. That set of hotels is more business than tourist focused, and had lower weekend rates the last time I checked.

Also there are lots of hotels around I-93 as you head north (look at Woburn for instance and then the surrounding towns)

True, but then you're really starting to get into 'nothing to walk to from the hotel' territory.
