mr.crepe?

i went to mr. crepe tonight to pick up some dinner. the verdict? pretty tasty fillings with a crisp yet pliant crepe, but not as tasty as the paris creperie.

i really like how bright and clean it is in there- the woman who took my order was also very friendly and welcoming. it also seems as though the tea and coffee selection is fairly large to appease those who would just like to lounge and people watch.

i know nothing of this mr.crepe personally... i am basing my little review on the experience i had.

Huh? I'm probably no happier than you are about the displacement of the Someday, but I don't see any basis for calling him a "racist violent liar".

The violent part may no be based in fact, now that I go back and read the Google group for the Someday Cafe (I was remembering this thread (http://groups.google.com/group/somedaycommunity/browse_thread/thread/8a97ddb31637165a/8c2deb9797322ed9#8c2deb9797322ed9), but I stand by my comment that he is racist and a liar.

Defending the dissolution of relationship with a former partner, he wrote (here (http://groups.google.com/group/somedaycommunity/browse_thread/thread/c129f0b2296f51ef/bd08b8660a34ac1e#bd08b8660a34ac1e)): "Redha is Algerian. These people typically support on another,
something I don't regard as a bad thing. It sort of patriotic.
However, any person who is algerian that I knew and that knew Redha
thinks very little of him." this wasn't the only time he saw fit to mention the race of someone, as if it made any sort of difference.

As for being a liar, he DEFINITELY lied when the whole Someday close down was going on. He (and Fraiman) led folks to believe that he would back off from the space if someone could help him find another location. He never had any intention of doing that.
