Can't reach the moderators. Update on tags/memories reorg?

What is happening with the reorganizing of tags and memories in the davis_square community? I'd like to help but I don't know what you want me to do, and when. elements is also interested. Oh also, I would be happy to, in a few weeks once some further insanity and out-of-town-ness in my life has cooled down, to take on a chunk of time to go through tagging, and/or to go through after we revamp the tag system to update older posts with more info.

One thing I think that might be useful would be to have a main tag organization post that has descriptions of the intention of each of the tags, and to organize their naming (and therefore presentation) by categories. That way someone could always check the main tag post to determine which tags best suit their posting. I think it might be nice to have a higher level of precision of tags available, so that there'd be less likelihood of getting hundreds of returns on a search.
