Anyone know what the renovations are that are closing Diesel this week?

A friend told me they are putting boths in the front section where tables and chairs are now.

I didn't think you meant permanently. But a) it's a huge meetup and b) it's an .alt group. It just ain't going to fly. Postponement is the better option.

If it were small, I'd suggest Grand Prix Cafe, but "huge" doesn't fit there. Perhaps True Grounds in Ball Square, if you can finish up by 9 pm?

It starts at 8pm and never finishes by 9--more like 11pm. We also have to be close to public trans due to people coming there who are college students and/or don't own cars.

Really, postponement is no big deal. It's just the sooner I can let everyone know that it'll be pushed off to whenever they reopen, the better.

I suggest phoning Diesel to see if they have anything on their answering machine. I'll try to walk by it later tonight and post any sign they have on their door.
