No, not at all. Mr. Crepe's coffee is smoooooooooth. I like it as well as the Starbuck's. Depends on my mood.

Cool. :) I'm not a Starbucks fan except for the stuff with so much other crap in it that it's more dessert than coffee. Smooth is good. Bold can still be smooth.

My mother and I refer to this as Cafe Froo Froo. Though it's not usually my preference, sometimes it's what the moment calls for.

Rao's is coffee done right, honest. The folks that run the original Rao's in Amherst are coffee snobs (in that good way).

The Danish Pastry House also sells Rao's. It's kinda way out in Medford (probably a 30 minute walk from Davis...) but SO GOOD. It was only about 15 minutes from my old apt. so I went a few times.
