Local store that sells computers?

I remember hearing about a computer shop near the Kendall area that sold custom PCs. I remember my aunt saying something about getting her computers there, and hearing that it was the store of choice for MIT/Tech Square types.

Does that ring any bells for anyone here? I'm planning to get a new computer and want to check out the prices at the local merchants first.

There USED to be "Eli's" on Hampshire street, halfway between Kendall and Inman. PCsForEveryone was on Charles St near the Cambridgeside Galleria, but they did apparently close that storefront. It's too bad, it was a nice location... But they are still online.

Someone drove a van through their front door and took a bunch of stuff. After that I think they decided the physical presence was more trouble than it's worth....
