Any recommendations where I can take my weddng dress to be cleaned? It has a lot of crystals that came originally plus I had some stuff sewn on...so I want to take it somewhere good. I got married in Sept and ever since its been sitting in a spare room.

Heres the story...

Our wedding was at 7pm. Ceremony ended at 730 and we didnt get too many "formal" pics of us due to it being so dark. The ONLY time the dress got dirty was when we were on the outdoor patio trying to get some pics...other than the train, the dress really isnt dirty. My stepfather is a wedding photographer and he offered to take us on foliage weekends to get some nice portraits but everytime we wanted to go he wasnt free, we werent free or it rained. So now Im definitely not going for portraits with bare trees.

We think maybe in Spring we will get some pics done OR next year on our anniversary we will do it and then I would wear it again. Or I might not.

So at this point it is poofy and the big bag is in the way. I cant leave it blocking the doorway anymore and while I want it cleaned I dont think I want it "preserved" or whatever.

I dont mind them but wedding photos with them...not so pretty. It isnt evem really a necessity at this point since we got hundreds of other pics of us that night that we aboslutely love. We orignally wanted only photojournalistic style but I miss the portraits for some reason.

I think they're called "presentation cleaners" but don't quote me on that.

the high school is 81 highland ave. theres a cleaners called holiday cleaners at 82 highland. I will have to drive by to see for sure.

heh, indeed. I also have a wedding dress from September with crystals and in bad need of someone to get the twigs out of the train.
