URGENT!
does anyone know of a reliable, won't-screw-me-over truck rental place. would be swell if it's in the somerville area. i know i shouldn't have waited this long but i thought i had another truck i could use but that plan didn't work and now i need one for august 31st. and i need a place that won't call me on friday to tell me that i can't have the truck until 5 p.m. ok -- recommend away...

Date: 2002-08-22 01:18 pm (UTC)they've fucked my roomie and i over twice, once leaving us stranded in Northampton for two days while we waited for a truck.
they just did it to a friend of ours, and he called the better business bureau. they said something to the effect of "we'll add your complaint to the u-haul pile"
ryder, enterprise, and i think budget are all more reliable. also hertz-penske.
