Hello! I'm new, just moved to Davis Square (at last!) recently, and still getting to know more details of the area.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a place for waxing and other such purely aesthetic procedures in the area?

sent a note to your announce list, but it may process more slowly than just posting here.

(the reason is because the place needs to be thoroughly cleaned. my bet is tuesday is likely one of their least profitable, but most crowded, evenings.)

Stuff

I have a lot of stuff. I want to have less stuff. Anybody have any suggestions about how to get rid of books (of various genres), VHS movies (mostly in good shape, but I won't have a VCR anymore), tapes (ditto - it's just time to move on to new technology), and clothes/shoes (women's size 7-ish, in both clothes and shoes)? Preferably in a way that involves loading up a Zipcar and taking them somewhere, rather than having a yard sale or posting each individual item on Craigslist. Thanks!
