Naming Apartments
Aug. 12th, 2005 01:02 pmI've been noticing from recent apartment postings here that it seems to be a custom in our little 'hood to give apartments and houses names. I think it's cute. So far I've seen mentioned (or been to) houses called Mean People, Blue House, Dangerhaus, The New Neighborhood, and a whole bunch of others. Where I live is The Treehouse.

Well, here's your chance...and you can be captured on celluloid for all eternity.
( rescheduled from this summer, it's... )

hey guys, i'm curious if anyone has any advice for me...
my mother is driving in next thursday evening and we are taking a ferry out to the vineyard on friday morning. we'll be there until sunday. this means that her car will need to have some place to live between thursday night and sunday afternoon. i don't have a driveway, or a visitor's pass, and i need to point her to the best place for long-term parking. i live in davis square and she is not very good at driving around the city, so the closer to that part of somerville the better. any suggestions? there's a parking lot on buena vista road that most of my visiting friends have used, but it only allows overnight parking in a few spaces between friday after 5pm and sunday. we need a place that will take the car from thursday to sunday. any help would be awesome. thanks!

car inspection
Aug. 12th, 2005 02:18 pmSorry if this has already been asked before..I couldn't find a post about it.
Need to get the car inspected, as I finally registered/insured my car in MA. Has anyone has a good experience at any of the inspection stations in Somerville? Just as important, have you had a particularly BAD experience somewhere?
Thanks a ton! :)

I moved
davis_square over to S2. The ability to set up tags (hopefully in the near future) is the main reason for this change.
