It was nice to see so many (both livejournalers and others)out for the second monthly
Board Game Night at Boloco earlier this evening.
Lots of people brought games as well as themselves and much fun was had.
Boloco baked mini-cookies for us, even.

...and in quite spectacular fashion, with big red inspectional services "X"s on the roof, a "Stop Work" order on the door, and a warning sign reading "UNSAFE DO NOT ENTER floor of building has collapsed".

I'm sure there's a story there.

I bet the owner will find it's not worth saving the building, and it'll be demolished for condos. I'll miss the baking smells, but not the garbage smells or the truck traffic.

Hey all, I checked the City's website and didn't see much: I need to attend some sort of meeting, council thing, semi official meeting or event or something and write a news story about it. Does anyone know of anything not listed on the calendar going on THIS WEEK? My schedule is really crazy so all times and days appreciated.

Also, the place I get my eyebrows threaded at (Salon 350 on Newbury) just upped their cost to $15, is there a cheaper place around? or anywhere really, I just don't want to pay that much when I used to pay like, $11.
