Saturday night season begins

2:15 a.m. Loud noises on Chapel Street from two guys post 2 am bar closing. They stopped to urinate in the alcove of the Methodist Church and then moved on. A few lights went on, including my own, from awakened neighbors. And then they moved on. Not worth a police call, but still a disturbance.

Hungry for something different? The Welcome Project's celebration and benefit on April 30 @Arts at the Armory features an eclectic mix of food from immigrant-run restaurants from Davis Square to Lower Broadway.  Sample Mexican, Tibetan, Mediterranean, Brazilian, Portuguese, Thai, Haitian, Italian, Ethiopian, Indian, Peruvian (Full list of YUM Restaurants here).

Music by Ecuadoran/Somervillian music award-winning band Yarina (check them out here). Plus performances from other local international artists.

April Vacation Week Drop-in Playgroups
Tuesday and Thursday, April 20th and 22nd
10AM - 12PM
$5 per child over 1 year


Kiddie yoga on Tuesday (10am) and musical sing along on Thursday (10am)!


Enjoy crafts, music and a place to get the sillies out!
