Yup, another post asking you to buy used stuff (it worked great last time!)

I have This End Up furniture that must go before I move. Two loveseats, a large table that can sit between them to create an L or serve as a large coffee table, an ottoman, and a utility cart/tv stand.

For pictures and the last price I was asking, see my craigslist ad here: http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/fuo/2473894220.html

Prices are negotiable. Make an offer.

And in case you didn't know, this stuff is heavy. If you want it you'll want at least two strong people to carry it down from my third floor apartment.

Comment here, PM or email my LJ address, or reply via craig's list if you're interested. I'll be around all weekend and would love if someone could take them soon.

Also, I have a metal bat sculpture. Give it a good home and I'll give it to you free. picture behind cut )

Somerville Police Looking to Identify Robbery Suspect.

Somerville Police are seeking to identify the suspect who robbed a local gas station.  On July 12th, at about 8:45 p.m., the Sunoco Gas Station at 541 Broadway was robbed at knifepoint.  The store surveillance video shows the suspect arriving in a black sedan, possibly a Nissan Maxima, with a towel covering it’s license plate, then entered the store and walked up to the counter, where he spoke briefly to the clerk.  The suspect then went back to his car briefly.  He then came back into the store where he calmly walks behind the counter, pulled out a knife and demanded cash.  The suspect fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash, jumped into the car and fled toward Medford.

The suspect is described as a white male, heavy set, over 6 feet tall, with a visible belly, wearing a distinct red and white color baseball cap, dark red jersey with black lines with a black or blue color trousers.  The suspect was also wearing sneakers.  A You Tube video of the surveillance video is available on our web page, www.somervillema.gov/spd.  The link to the video is included below.

Anyone who knows the identity of this suspect is urged to contact Somerville Police at 617 625-1212.  Or, they can text an anonymous tip by texting 617SPD to Tip411

Update Sunday, 7/17: Everything has been claimed. Good luck, furniture-hunters, and thanks for helping me keep the small baby in one piece.

Benefit from our childproofing furniture purge! Quality furniture at frazzled-new-parent prices. :)

- Queen-sized mattress - Miralux Indulgence Pillowtop, 4 years old. Very comfortable but need to sell because of new baby who might suffocate in pillowtop. Originally $1100. Selling for $50 (no box spring).

- Large bookcase - Solid wood, six shelves. Dimensions are approximately 78" x 34" x 13". I love this bookcase - it's solidly built, and the shelves are removable and adjustable in height, but the whole thing is too tall to be safe for a little kid. $30.

- Medium-sized, newish Samsung television - though NOT plasma or LCD or any of that new-fangled stuff. Comes with DVD player, digital converter, antenna, and all remotes. Conveniently located A/V jacks for your Original NES. FREE!!!

- Wood and paper four-panel screen or room divider. Six years old. Wider than most room dividers you'll find, with each panel about 17" wide and 70" tall. Has some wear and tear on the paper parts. - $20

Available for pick-up in Harvard Square (sorry if too far away!). Note that parents of young kids probably don't want any of these. Photos and e-mail contact at http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/fuo/2496646809.html.

I found some items of Heidi Kador's on the Hancock Street sidewalk this evening that I think she would like to get back. If you know Heidi (or are Heidi!), please have her contact me at drmphotogATgmailDOTcom so I can return her stuff. I also found what appears to be a work email address for her and sent info there as well.

Thanks!

UPDATE: Heidi has been found! Thanks!!

I'm looking for local mulberry trees, especially ones on public land/friendly owners. Anyone know any good locations?
There was a brief mention in this older post, but I'm hoping to find additional trees.
