Longshot: 27 Victoria St?

Does anyone know the person who lives at 27 Victoria St now? This is totally a long shot, but I had a package there delivered in error; I don't know who lives there now, and can't seem to catch them at home. The package is a Christmas present and I'd love to get it back. . .

I believe that lots of people in Davis Square are fans of opens studios. It's worth remembering that SOS is not run by some large, shadowy corporation, nor is it run by the City of Somerville, though they are very supportive of our efforts and make this a great community to live and make art in. SOS is a volunteer organization and everything that makes the huge event run is done by a great volunteer crew and community. If you would like to be involved, come to the Kick Off Party.

Custom shipping boxes

Hi everyone. Google has failed me. Does anyone know of a LOCAL place that I could get a single custom-size shipping box made? I've gotten quotes from a bunch of places I found online, but they're all far away and shipping the thing would cost twice as much as the box itself.

In case it's relevant, the box would be about 38"x38"x12", give or take a couple inches on each side. But it's going to travel internationally and carry about 80 lbs, so it needs to be quite strong, so we can't just use a plain moving box or reused TV box or something.

snow removal

Can anyone tell me the going rate for snow removal for a season and also recommend anyone?  It is one long driveway at a 2family with a small parking area just big enough for two cars in the back. it was $860 last year and the price this year is $1100 by the same people.  It seems a big jump>  I am happy to pay for a light season again but would love to know options.  Thanks!

What's happening at the Social Security building? An art auction! (Thursday night 11/15)

If you walk by the former Social Security office at 240 Elm Street, you may notice that all the lights are on and people are hanging paintings on the walls. They are getting ready for an art auction tomorrow night called Night In The Box. All of the art is by graduate students at Mass. College of Art and Design, and the event is a benefit for scholarships in that program.

Tickets are a pretty outrageous $50, but if you show up earlier in the afternoon (before doors officially open at 6:30), they may let you wander around for free to just look at the art.
