Shelter for the homeless during the storm
Feb. 8th, 2013 08:58 amThere is an elderly gentleman often walking around Davis pulling a two wheeled cart whom I assume is homeless. I don't know his situation as I've never approached him for fear of violating his privacy. However I'm now worried about his safety during the storm.
What shelter options exist for the homeless in the Davis area? Does anyone know if this gentleman sleeps out or not? If he does and there are local options I'd like to get him some assistance if I see him today.

Folks - have just been informed that the library will be closed Saturday - so the screening of "In The Blood" is cancelled. Darn it! We will def reschedule this - looking at early March. But here is a link to some info we were going to pass out at the event; lots of links to articles (pdf and googlebooks) and a few films on youtube on the subject of logging in New England. Hope you can enjoy the snow
Great news. I can avoid going to Shaws now.
